Stephanie Tait

Stephanie is the Business Director for the Yoga School of Business, the World's First Yoga Business School™. Driven by a long-held entrepreneurial passion, she opened her first coaching business while attending the University of British Columbia, where she received a BA. Upon graduation, she continued her coaching business full-time, receiving certification from Coach U and a PCC (Professional Certified Coach) designation from the International Coach Federation.

Since then, Steph has specialized in coaching small business owners to create more sustainable, thriving businesses, and realize their own personal excellence. Her client roster includes business owners across North America, in industries ranging from healthcare, fitness, coaching, media, education, counseling, and entertainment, to name a few.

Her accomplishments have been widely recognized and she has received accolades such as the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award presented by His Majesty Prince Edward, YWCA's Young Woman of Distinction Award, York House School's Alumni of Distinction Award and eWomenNetwork's International Emerging Leader of the Year Award (finalist).

Driven by a commitment to realize her own personal excellence through her entrepreneurial pursuits, in 2006 she co-founded the charity Run for One Planet - an ongoing run organization focused on inspiring environmental action, one step at a time. To this end, Stephanie and co-founder Matt Hill ran 11,000 miles around North America in one year. This required them to complete a combined total of 420 marathons. While doing this Steph recruited, trained and led a team of over 30 volunteers, spoke to over 30,000 Young Leaders at over 220 presentations, and did countless media interviews. Canada's largest charitable organization, The Vancouver Foundation, now manages the Run for One Planet Legacy Fund. To honour the organization, the Mayor of Vancouver officially declared May 8th as 'Run for One Planet Day' in the City of Vancouver.

Stephanie continues to inspire positive change by speaking to groups of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs at Canada's premier leadership conferences. She is also a proud member of BC Hydro's Team Power Smart Leaders, and a lululemon Ambassador.

She resides in Vancouver, BC and maintains a daily yoga practice.
